Campus Volunteer Foundation-UCC organizes clean-up exercise

Campus Volunteer Foundation, a group of student volunteers from the University of Cape Coast organized a general clean-up exercise at the university hospital over the weekend.

The move part was of the launch of the group on campus. Choicism’s Hafiz Laryea, who is the president of the group, said it was to instill the spirit of volunteerism in students. “This is just to kick start the movement of contributing to society. The hospital is the first point of call when there is any health emergency and we are glad to help. The volunteers are excited about this initiative and are anxious about the next project. We will be volunteering at the rural communities – to teach, motivate and inspire. We’re planning an initiative that that will be most beneficial to the visually impaired on campus. There’s so much come out of Campus Volunteer Foundation”.

He expressed gratitude to the hospital administration for the cooperation and encouraged colleague students to join the group to contribute to the agenda of making society a better place.
