UCC SRC Condemns ATL, Conti, Vandals And Oguaa Clash

The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has condemned the recent clash between hallers of Atlantic hall, Conti, Vandals and Oguaa Hall.

In a statement issued by the SRC Public Relations Officer(PRO), Mr. Felix Amihere, on Monday 20th March, 2017, the SRC indicated that what happened on Friday, March 17, 2017 was a shameful act.

“Last Friday was not just a sad day but a terrible day that brought not just sorrow but shame to the education we have acquired as students.
And the question the council keep asking is, how could we?”

The SRC by the release, stated that persons found guilty in last Friday’s clash will not be forgiven after investigations and  the council will support the disciplining of such persons.

“The council wishes to inform all students that we shall not be a party to covering up anyone and shall fully assist in the carrying out of investigation and discipline actions on whoever deserves to be punished”

The council further assured that injured persons will be supported and called for calm amongst parties involved in such rivalry.
