“Live to Meet life in 2016” – UCC SRC Scribe to students

The Secretary of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) Students’ Representative Council (SRC),Miss Elizabeth  Dwamena, aka AFIA,  has called on Ghanaian students to ‘live and meet life in 2016.

“Live and meet life in 2016.Do not shun life and give it bad names”. She said in a New Year message copied to the Choicism.Com on Friday morning.

She urged students to choose a positive path full of reformation in 2016 rather than resorting to actions that would result in despondency.

Below is a copy of the statement unedited:

2015 was an eventful year full of challenges which revolved around family, friends, loved ones, school mates etc.

It was a year where austerity affected the lives of many. Some ended up making difficult decisions which inevitably led to their failures.Even though there has been difficult times in the lives of many, we shouldn’t also forget the fortunes that embraced us in 2015 and be thankful to God.

We are in a new year and the only way to preserve the sovereignty we have and to control our destiny is to choose a positive route of structural reforms rather than that of impulsive actions which only add to confusion and chaos without restoring confidence.

Live and meet life in 2016.Do not shun life and give it bad names.

Pay less attention to individual opinions about you, I know the fault finders will find faults even in paradise.God never asked us to impress people, He only asked us to love them all.

We live to learn and our mistakes are the teachers. Life is at its best when everything has fallen out of place, and you decide that you’re going to fight to get them right, not when everything is going your way and everyone is praising you.Gather the mess you created in 2015 and turn it into a message in 2016.

You are not Late.Life teaches and we learn.
