NOTICE FROM NUGS VETTING COMMITTEE

We extend to you warm greetings from the 2015 Vetting Committee of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS)

After the necessary consultations and engagements with the National Secretariat of NUGS, the vetting committee is pleased to furnish all stakeholders and the general public with the list of aspirants that have filed their nominations to contest for the various national executive positions of the Union. In no particular order, the list is as follows:

In pursuance to the relevant constitutional provisions, these prospective candidates are to appear before the committee at a date yet to be communicated in due course. However, the Vetting Committee is by this notice and with immediate effect, inviting all vital information in the form of petitions, complaints or memos in respect of any of the prospective candidates from the general public to assist the committee in its screening exercise. Thursday, 27th August is the deadline for such submissions to the committee.

NB: All should note that, the Vetting Committee reserves the right to decline the vetting of any aspirant whose institution defaults in the payment of dues to the Union or withhold his/her vetting results for want of meeting the basic constitutional requirement of being “in a good standing”.
