School of Nursing And Midwifery to Introduce Friday Wear – says Dean

Students from the School of Nursing and  Midwifery  under the College of Health and Allied Sciences (CoHAS) will be  expected to wear  a friday uniform to lectures  starting next semester.

This decision was announced by the Dean of the school Professor Ahmed Adu Oppong  during the schools Public Forum on 30th October 2014 at the SMS auditorium. Enumerating some of the ideas he wants to bring aboard as the Dean, Professor Ahmed said, the  idea of the Friday wear  is to ensure uniqueness as a school , present prestige and foster easy  identification. 

According to him, the school is about to review and revise their curriculum to fit their status, set up a school library, and offer new programmes as a way of ensuring that graduates from the school stand- out  in excellence.

The programme served as the first official meeting between the Dean and the the students’ body. In attendance to the programme were students from the school, faculty officers, lecturers, and clinical instructors.
