The University of Cape Coast(UCC) has extended the deadline for the payment of School fees and online registration to Tuesday,September 15,2015, according to a statement by the Students Representative Council (SRC).
According to the SRC, the move was necessitated as a result of “the financial challenges that most students are facing”.
It noted that:”It is the earnest hope of the SRC that this measure will ease more students of their financial burdens and enable students to register in time.”
The Spokeperson and the chief Scribe for the Council,Theophilus Sosi and Elizabeth Dwamena respectively,announced this in a statement issued on campus on Friday and copied to the Choicism on Friday,August,28.
The statement concluded by patting on the back of the management and other stakeholders for “favourably considering the appeal of the SRC.’
Earlier in a statement on Thursday, August 6,the Council indicated that the deadline for the payment of the school fees was on Monday,August 31.

UCC SRC: EXTENSION OF DEADLINE FOR PAYMENT OF FEES
The UCC SRC wishes to bring to the notice of all students that the deadline for the payment of schools fees and online registration has been extended to Tuesday, the 15th of September, 2015.
This intervention has become necessary due to the financial challenges that most students are facing. It is the earnest hope of the SRC that this measure will ease more students of their financial burdens and enable students to register in time.
The SRC is very grateful to management and other stakeholders for favourably considering the appeal of the SRC for the extension.
NB: The new deadline for online registration and payment of fees is 15th September, 2015.
