Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast Professor Joseph Ghartey Ampiah has lauded the entire staff and students of the University of Cape Coast describing their commitment and hard work towards the development of the university as phenomenal.

Professor Ghartey Ampiah made the acknowledgement in his New Year Message to the University Community at a nine lessons and carol service held at the university.
He also commended the surrounding communities for collaborating peacefully with the university in the course of the year.
“The reality is that, the learning experiences, projects and all the successes we have chalked this year could not have been possible without the great deal of commitment and support from you all. In diverse ways everyone has contributed to ensuring a successful year. In this regard I say we are very grateful. We also want to use this opportunity to thank the surrounding communities for coexisting peacefully with us” he said.
He added “Let us use this yuletide and it festivities to reflect on the goodness of God. Let us remember to thank him although many of us will still have many unanswered prayers and wishes.”
Professor Ampiah Ghartey urged the University community to be measured in their celebrations during the festive season while preparing to meet 2019 with all the zeal needed to work hard and dedicated to their service.
