USAG vets aspirants today

http://johnsonofosu.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/thumb-1010.jpgThe University Students’ Association of Ghana (USAG) Vetting Committee will today begin vetting of prospective candidates for the upcoming July 19 polls.

A statement jointly signed by messrs George Sarpong,Vetting Committe Chair; Opoku Nti Ernest,Vetting Committe Secretary,respectively said the first set of aspirants to be vetted at today’s sitting were those competing for the position of General Secretary;Information and International Relations;Financial Controller and Women’s Commissioner.

The statement added that the committe would vet aspirants contesting the position of Co-ordinating Secretary and presidential on Sunday,July 12,2015.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC SCREENING OF USAG ASPIRANTS

Article 54 and 55 of Page 22 of the USAG constitution prescribes the qualifications required to seek an executive office of the University Students’ Association of Ghana.

The Vetting Committee is therefore by this publication, requesting all member institutions and students within our domain, to submit before it, by midday 11th July, 2015, petitions or memos for or against any aspirant.

NB: Once again, the committee will not entertain any form of roguishness.
