Vice-Chancellor Celebrates Birthday with Patients of UCC Hospital

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, Prof. Domwini Dabire Kuupole has donated foodstuffs to patients at the University of Cape Coast hospital as a birthday present at a short ceremony last Friday.

The items included a ram, loaves of bread, cartons of milk and assorted fruits.

Presenting the items to the hospital, Prof. Kuupole noted that the donation was to wish patients who had been admitted at the hospital speedy recovery.

He indicated that the gesture was a way of extending a hand of love and encouragement to the patients.

The Vice-Chancellor was later taken round the various wards in the by the Director of University Health Services, Dr. K. K. Azeez. Prof. Kuupole assured the patients that the Medical Officers and the supporting staff were up to the task and would do everything possible to ensure that they recover from their ailments.

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, the University Health Services Committee Chairman, Prof. John Nelson Buah thanked the Vice-Chancellor for his continuous support to the hospital in diverse ways. He finally wished him long and fruitful life.
