Members of the Ghana Muslim Students’ Association, UCC Chapter on Saturday went to the polls to elect their leadership for the 2013/14 academic year.
After a peacefully conducted elections, Abdul Rahman Alhassan who got 199 of the valid votes cast was declared the winner whilst his opponent Mohammed Rashad got 32 of the valid votes.
In his victory speech, Abdul Rahman, the GMSA President-elect promised to work hard for the betterment of the Muslims on campus.

Treasurer – Seidu Karim
Financial Secretary – Shakur Salpawuni
Organizer – Baako A. Latif
Women’s Commissioner – Rahmat Abudu Salim
