Professor Dora Francisca Edu-Buandoh has been appointed the new Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), taking over from Prof. George K.T Oduro whose term of office expires on December 31, 2018.
A statement announcing her elevation further states that her appointment takes effect from January 2019.
The decision to appoint Prof. Edu-Buandoh, who is the current Provost of the College of Humanities and Legal Studies, was taken by the University Council at its 99th meeting on Friday, November 23, 2018.
In January 2016, Prof. Edu- Buandoh was appointed as the chairperson of the five-member Presidential Committee by former President John Mahama to determine the emoluments of Article 71 Office Holders.
