The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. D. D. Kuupole has been honoured by the International Society of Organisational Development (ISOD) for mainstreaming organizational development in the curriculum of the University of Cape Coast.
Presenting the award to the Vice-Chancellor in his office, the Director of ISOD, Kenneth Wall, commended the Vice-Chancellor for playing an active role in the recent OD conference which was hosted in Ghana.
He noted that the ISOD intend to partner credible institutions like UCC to bring positive change to the world.
Receiving the award, Prof. Kuupole noted that he was determined to advance the agenda of the University to bring on board innovative programmes that would address both national and international needs.
He reiterated UCC’s readiness to enter into collaborative initiatives to exchange ideas and experience stressing that “we are in a world that demands that nobody stands alone.”
Present at the presentation were the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. S. B. Kendie and the Registrar, Mr. John Kofi Nyan.
