The Faculty of Arts Students Association and Students of English Association of the University of Cape Coast would honour Prof. Nyidevu Awoonor, an International Ghanaian Poet who was the former head of the English Department and Dean of the Faculty of Arts on November 2nd at the Centre for National Culture (CNC).
This event is set to mark his achievements as a poet as well as his contributed efforts to the country not forgetting the Arts faculty of the University of Cape Coast.
The event is scheduled to commence at 6:00pm with performances from various acts. Poets who will be gracing the show are Oswald George Okaitei (World Empowered Poet/Pentassi B Inspirational Poet Awardee 2013), Tetteh D Muse, Joseph Nesta, Ellen Ewuresi Gaisie and Nii Ayi. Spectacular dramatized poetry performances written and directed Oswald by Oswald’s Plays.kom would also be seen. This event is a poetry feast for a poetry father!
It is free for all audience. Interested audience would have to acquire ‘NKUMAH MIGHT BE RIGHT!’ ticket to follow up with unbreakable laughter as they watch the most satirical political comedy by Oswald George Okaitei.
