The Students Financial Support Office(StuFSO) of the University of Cape Coast has opened 2023/2024 scholarship applications for suitable and qualified needy but brilliant and promising students.
The initiative which was established under the office of the Vice Chancellor was to support students who are facing challenges in payment of their fees in order to make quality education accessible to students who might not have the means to raise and support themselves in climbing the educational ladder.
According to the Student Financial Support Office(StuFSO), application opens on Thursday June 1, 2023 and closes on Friday June 30, 2023. The office states that all required documents are to be submitted by logging onto the student support website (www.apply.stufso.ucc.edu.gh).
Meanwhile, interested students are required to call 036 219 6721 or send email to [email protected] for prompt assistance.
Again, the Office of the StuFSO can be seen at Room Number 113 on the First Floor of Block B in the Adow Obeng Central Administration hence students who need clarity and further information should visit them there.
It also indicates that only shortlisted applicants will be invited for interview.
Students should kindly note the terms of the scholarship in order to assist them apply;
*Must be a Ghanaian by birth.
*Must have completed at least one academic year of studies.
*Must be able to demonstrate financial need and must be ready to supply any documentary evidence for decision making.
*Must have a CGPA of 2.5 and above.
*Must be making EXCELLENT PROGRESS as determined by the University.
