A level 300 Nigerian student who is a resident of Nest Hostel is reportedly dead in a gruesome murder on Wednesday night.
The deceased, who is said to be reading Bachelor of Arts Social Science and whose name was only given as Godwin, hands and legs were tied together, his throat was cut, and intestines removed.
His body was found around Palace Hostel (along Amamoma Road).
The university’s authorities are tight-lipped at the moment as investigations have started to unravel the mystery behind this murder.
In the meantime students are cautioned to avoid walking alone at late hours especially in dark area.
