A level 100 student at the Department of French, Mr. Hubert Varlet Nwolley was adjudged the overall winner of the Inter-University FRANCOTONIK contest held recently at the National Theatre, Accra.
The competition was organised by the French Embassy and other francophone embassies in Ghana as part of activities to celebrate the International Day of “la Francophonie”, of which Ghana is a member.
For his prize, Mr. Nwolley will take part in a two-week French language course from July 5 to 15, 2015 in Paris, France. The certificate was also presented to him by the Minister for Education, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang in the presence of the French Ambassador in Ghana, Mr. Frederic Clavier and other dignitaries at the function.
