The SRC President, Mr. Enoch Boateng has denied rumours being peddled around by a section of students that there will be a biometric registration at the beginning of the semester.
The SRC President in a reply to a clarification message choicism.com sent to him said “I want to use your platform to state unequivocally clear that my outfit has no official information on this speculation and as such students should treat it as a spam”.
He used the opportunity to inform students that there will as well be no online registration.
“I want to however state that, there will be no online registration stemming from the fact that majority of our students do not have account with the system” he said.
“In view of this all students are required to report on campus and go through the manual registration without any stress at all. After the registration exercise all students will be entreated to open account with the system whiles on campus to be able to access online information of theirs such as results etc” he added.
Mr. Enoch Boateng then took the time to wish all students a happy new year.
“I wish to once again use your platform to wish the good students of UCC happy New Year and safe journey as they prepare to report back to campus on 19th January, 2013”.
