The Presidential Candidate of the National Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akuffo Addo,will deliver the Maiden Edition Of Legal Luminaries Platform lectures.
The programme comes off Friday(today),September 25,2015 at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) FELT Auditorium 900.
The programme,which is under the auspices of the Law Students’ Union(LSU-UCC), seeks to basically tap the rich experiences Nana Addo has garnered over the past 40 years at the bar.
In an interview with Choicism.com,Mr.Richard Kojo Nyarko,LSU-UCC spokesman,said the event will be held on the theme:”40 YEARS OF WORKING WITH THE LAW;CAN THE LAW SAVE THE PEOPLE?”.
He stressed that Nana Addo was not coming as a politician,however,”he is coming as an astute lawyer,share his experience,dynamics of the law,the Changing trends of the law”.
Making reference to Article 222(b) of the LSU-UCC constitution, he noted that the union was open to all students in UCC,adding that students could sign up to be an associate member for obvious reasons.
He called on the public to dress formally devoid of party colours.
Earlier in the day, Nana Addo is expected to storm the studios of ATL 100.5 FM at 11:00am for a brief interview as a prelude to the main event at 6:00pm.
