The University of Cape Coast (UCC) will hold a Three-day public lecture dubbed: The 10th Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Lecture. This was according to a notice copied to the Choicism.com by the University.
The theme for this year’s lecture is:”Whence Ghana..?…Wither the nation..??.”
The series of lectures which comes off on Monday, October 12,Tuesday,October 13 and Thursday,October 15 respectively, is expected to attract hundreds of academia,diplomats,politicians,the clergy,amongst others.
The guest speaker for the lecture,the notice added,is Mr.K.B Asante,a Retired Diplomat,Writer and a Former Secretary to Dr.Kwame Nkrumah, the first president of Ghana.
On Thursday, the University will confer honorary degrees on distinguished individuals for their immense contributions toward the forward match of the University in particular and Ghana at large.
The notice concluded by inviting members of the University Community to this august function.
