The Management of the University of Cape Coast and the Distance Education Students Association of Ghana, have presented GH¢ 60,000 to help a student of the school, Christiana Yelsaana, to undergo kidney transplant in India.
The presentation took place at the Police Hospital in Accra.
The Vice Chancellor of U.C.C, Professor Domwini Kuupole, said the gesture is to Miss Yelsaana, a level 200 student to regain her health to continue her studies.
