2013 Christmas Message From Vice Chancellor – Prof. D. D. Kuupole

2013 Christmas message from UCC Vice Chancellor - Prof. D. D. Kuupole ; University of Cape CoastAnother year draws to a close and over the past 12 months, we have celebrated, laughed, shed a few tears and said goodbye to some very special people, but life has continued. As we approach another Christmas season, we say “Ayekoo” to all categories of staff for their dedication, skill and commitment in making UCC as one of the dynamic and respected institutions in the country.

Christmas is an occasion to reflect on the past, make amends where necessary and move on. A time for hope and to be at peace with all men. A period when families gather and share fond memories of the past year. It is about God’s gift of good news with the angels’ message of joy, peace, reconciliation, goodwill and justice.

I am delighted to extend the season’s greetings to all members of the University community. Your tremendous support during the year has helped us on the journey to achieving the vision and mission of the University.

I also pray to the Almighty God to give perfect peace in our various homes and families. May he renew our strengths and thoughts in the ensuing year. May we be more disciplined, prudent and visionary in the coming year.

And to all workers, let us work hard to lift our cherished corporate entity called UCC – THE UNIVERSITY OF CHOICE to a higher pedestal. May God bless us all.

Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!

Prof. D. D. Kuupole
