Counselling Centre Receives Donation of Books from Rev. Dr. Anthony Nkyi

A lecturer at the Counselling Centre, Rev. Dr. Anthony Nkyi has donated assorted books valued at $3, 000 to the Centre to facilitate teaching, learning and counselling services.

The books comprise Counselling Psychology, Education and Research, Booklets on Disorders, HIV/AIDS, Alcohol and Drug Addictions.

Presenting the books, Rev. Dr. Nkyi noted that the donation was to give back to the Centre the opportunity they gave him to realize his career ambitions. He indicated that most of the books were purchased when he was pursuing MPhil. and PhD at Creighton University, Omaha, and University of Colorado Springs, USA respectively.

Receiving the books, the Director of the Counselling Services Centre, Dr. (Mrs.) Linda D. Forde, expressed appreciation to Rev. Dr. Nkyi for the assistance and called on others to emulate this kind gesture.
