Ghanahene Steps Down From UCC SRC Contest

Ghanahene, a leading contender for the SRC presidential slot of the University of Cape Coast has stepped down, choicism.com can report.

Choicism.com has intercepted a documentary evidence to that effect copied to the Dean of Students, the Vetting Committee for this year’s election and the Ag SRC president.

In an interview with choicism.com, Ghanahene confirmed that he had stepped down but would decline any further comments.

Below is the full content of the message he drafted to his disappointing supporters:

APOLOGY FROM GHANAHENE

I’m sorry to inform you that due to some unexpected events, I’m obliged to resign from competing as the UCCSRC president. This was certainly not part of my plans. I realize how unprofessional this may seem, but please trust me when I  tell you that I have no other choice. The reasons are not private and they are not vetting –
related or election-related so there is no point in disclosing them now but at the right time will communicate to you loved ones.
Thanks for the love showed, loyalty is the word to those who betrayed me. I regret any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you very much for your understanding. Very sorry
