The National Health Insurance Scheme, NHIS has commenced operations at the premises of the university’s hospital. The NHIS office which is located just behind the UCC hospital administration block commenced operations on the 14th of January, 2014.
Alhaji Dr. K. K. Azeez the director of the hospital announced this in a public statement.
The office provides services such as new registrations and renewal of NHIS cards for UCC students, staff and their dependents. The University community is reminded to bring along their hospital records cards as they visit this facility.
