NUGS-UCC Donates Pens to BECE Candidates

The National Union of Ghana Students, University of Cape Coast chapter has donated pens to BECE candidates from some selected Junior High Schools in the Central Region as they prepare towards the 2019 BECE.

This, according to the Union, is its quota to support students in the upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination.

The donation was done when a delegation of the Union paid a working visit to the Amamoma Presby JHS and Imani Khomeni Islamic Basic School as part of its tour to some Junior High Schools in the Cape Coast Metropolis to acquaint themselves with students, most especially the final year students.

The NUGS-UCC President, Mr. Achire Adam, in addressing the students, admonished the BECE candidates to exhibit good moral before and during the period of the examination.

The president further advised candidates to be very conscious and economical with their time when taking the exam.

This according to him will enable them finish answering the questions and have time to read over their answers to make corrections where there is the need.

Mr. Achire Adam however recommended that candidates take their books serious within the remaining days to the exam so as to be well prepared and to overcome tension during the exam.

This year’s BECE is scheduled to start on Monday 10th June, 2019.
