Ace media broadcaster who often charms listeners of ATL fm with his powerful voice, Samuel Kojo Brace(SKB), is organizing volunteers to inspire and train some hundreds JHS pupil in ICT in the Ahanta West District, Western Region, Ghana, come Monday, September,22, 2014.
This, he said, forms part of his contributions to the District where he received formal education, as part of activities marking this year’s Founders’ Day celebrations.
The best, they say, comes from the West, but that cannot be said about Ahanta West District which sit closely to the jubilee field where dozens of barrels of oil are drilled every day.
In fact, the District does not only lack in terms of basic infrastructural resources but the District also performs poorly in Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), despite the fact that the District has produced some of the outstanding human resource base of Ghana including the ace broadcaster.
To help improve the academic fortunes of this District, SKB is therefore mobilizing volunteers to mentor pupil in this District to help the District regain its past glories.
Individuals, especially students within the University of Cape Coast community who wish to volunteer on this Founders’ Day can rally their support and energy to help Kojo to put a smile on these pupils.
Volunteers would help the pupil in ICT training and basic mentoring activities.
To be part of the volunteers, you can reach Kojo on 0246211148.
Founders’ Day is dedicated to remember those gallant men who shed their tears for our dear nation, let us support Kojo Brace to achieve this worthy cause.
