The training and development section under the Directorate of Human Resource has organized a day orientation program for 2022/2023 service personnel.
This orientation was organized for personnel who are having their national service on the campus of the University.
The goal was to make personnel abreast with the operations of the University and to describe their roles in helping nation building.
In addressing the personnel, the Senior Assistant Registrar at the Directorate of Human Resource, Mr. Isaac Adom- Konadu said that the essence of national service is to instill patriotism and nationalism in personnel in order for them to contribute massively to nation building.
Hence, he admonished personnel to take their service period very serious and encouraged personnel to adopt a positive behavior at their various work areas.
Some of the topics treated during the orientation included; Work Ethics and Office Management, Sexual harassment on UCC campus, Human Relations/ Rights, Responsibilities and Privileges of service personnel, Administrative structure and channel of Communication at UCC, Relationship with staff and students and conflict management.
