UCC SRC Successfully Holds Tutorials for Level 100 Students

The 62nd UCC SRC, led by H.E. Abraham Norman Nortey, has successfully organized free academic tutorials for Level 100 students, reinforcing its commitment to student success and academic excellence. The initiative, spearheaded by the Academic Affairs Commission, provided additional academic support to students in Communicative Skills, ITS, and Information Literacy, which are key foundation courses at the university.

The tutorials took place from March 22nd to 29th, 2025, at Calc for All and saw an impressive turnout of eager students. Facilitators, who were well-experienced in these courses, guided students through essential concepts, tackled challenging areas, and provided practical study techniques to enhance understanding and performance in exams.

Speaking after the final session, H.E. Abraham Norman Nortey emphasized that the SRC remains dedicated to ensuring every student receives the necessary academic support to thrive. “This initiative is part of our broader vision to empower students by providing resources that enhance their academic journey. We are proud of the impact and will continue to introduce more initiatives to support learning,” he stated.

Students expressed their gratitude to the SRC, highlighting how the tutorials had boosted their confidence ahead of their examinations. “The sessions were well-structured, interactive, and insightful. I now feel more prepared for my exams,” said one participant.

The Academic Affairs Commission has assured students that similar initiatives will continue in subsequent semesters to maintain a culture of academic excellence at UCC.
