Nominations for the various UCC SRC and L/NUGS positions for the 2018/2019 academic year have been opened from [today] Monday, February 19, 2018 to Friday, February 23, 2018.
An aspirant who wish to pick and file for nomination must have completed at least one academic year, attained at least a CGPA of 2.5 and not in his/her final year at the time of standing for the elections.
Nomination forms could be picked at the Office of the Dean of Students Affairs at Old Site.
The various positions available to be contested for are:

SRC Coordinating Secretary
SRC Public Relations Officer
SRC Sports Secretary
Local NUGs President
Local NUGs Secretary
Local NUGs Women’s Commissioner
The atmosphere on campus is being charged for the elections as many hopeful aspirants have already started with unofficial campaign to allow students get to know them and the policies or projects they would embark on when they are voted into office.

Manifesto Reading (on ATL FM for SRC/LNUGS) – Thursday, 22nd March, 2018
Face to Face (at UCC Main Auditorium for SRC/LNUGS) – Friday, 23rd March, 2018.
Voting and declaration of results – Tuesday, 27th March, 2018
