Leader of the Progressive People’s Party, Dr. Papa Kwesi Ndoum has admonished students to be persistent in pursuing their goals despite all the challenges they may face.
Speaking at a seminar organized by the Valco Hall JCRC of the University of Cape Coast on the theme: “Entrepreneurial Actions, Innovation and Appropriateness. The Economic Growth”, Papa Kwesi Ndoum advised students to “beat the system when times are hard and to find innovative ways of solving problems while making money out of them”.
While attributing his entrepreneurial success to faith, good family ties and discipline, the “Edwumawura” charged students to take their education with all seriousness and perseverance and start investments which may lead to greater successes in future by taking advantage of every situation and making the best out of it. ” Investments lead to a good life”, he stated.
He finally touched on corruption, stating that in Ghana over 1 billion US dollars worth of money is lost to corruption every year. He urged students to be diligent in their works, start small and aim big because Ghana needs local investors to sustain the economy.
He was speaking to a cross section of students at the Valco Hall “Aluta Square” as part of the activities in line with the 23rd Valco Hall Week Celebrations. Also present at the seminar were the hall master, hall bursar, CEO of Ahonka Fm and JCRC executives.
