First year student, Esther Omawumi (Miss Delta), has been crowned Miss Nigeria – University of Cape Coast (UCC) for the 2016/2017 academic year.
Stephanie Eboh a third year student who is the immediate past Miss Nigeria – UCC on Friday (April 8, 2016) night crowned Esther at the main auditorium of UCC.
Esther took home an undisclosed amount of money after emerging winner amongst 4 other contestants who also had consolation and cash prizes.
The beauty peagent is among other things to foster the already existing friendly relationship between Ghana and Nigeria through cultural and educational exchange.
The event attracted many local and other international students although the night also hosted another big program on the campus.
Miss Nigeria UCC, is an annual pageant show which showcases positive attributes of Nigerian ladies at UCC.
