The Government of Ghana has assured that it would continue to pay utilities bills for tertiary students contrary to rumour that government want to shift that responsibility on students.
In a statement signed by Alex Kyeremeh, Deputy Minister in charge of tertiary education reads that government has not changed its policy on utility bills.
“As such, government policy regarding subsidy on water and electricity bills for tertiary students has not changed” the stated added.
