The University of Cape Coast (UCC) Team participating in the Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) Games yesterday won 5 gold medals in Badminton increasing their gold medal to 12.
UCC now lead the medal table after 5 games with 12 gold, 9 silver and 4 bronze.
The GUSA games which began on January 4, 2015 is ongoing at the University of Education, Winneba. The UCC Team now leads the medal table after 5 games with 12 gold, 9 silver and 4 bronze.
University of Education, Winneba are second on the medal table with 5 gold,7 silver and 8 bronze.
University of Ghana are third on the medal table with 4 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze.
Kwame Nkrumah University of Kwame Nkrumah University of Sceince and Technology are fourth with 2 gold, 1 silver and 7 bronze.
University of Professional studies, Accra have 1 bronze. The other universities are yet to win a medal with five more games (Handball, Volleyball, Soccer, Tennis and Basketball) to University of Professional Studies (UPS) has only one (1) bronze.
The other universities are yet to win a medal with five more games (Handball, Volleyball, Soccer, Tennis and Basketball) to the other universities participating in the competition are yet to win any medal with five more games to the end of the competition.
These disciplines include: Handball, Volleyball, Soccer, Tennis and Basketball.
The athletics event will start today at 1:00 pm at the Sports College Park in Winneba.
