The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. D. D. Kuupole has led a delegation from UCC to pay a courtesy call on the Central Regional Minister, Mrs. AmaBenyiwaa Doe, in her office at the Central Regional Coordinating Council, Cape Coast.
The delegation comprised the Chairman of Council, Justice A. K. B. Ampiah; the Acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Ampiah Ghartey and the Registrar, Mr. John Kofi Nyan.
Explaining the purpose of the visit, Prof. D. D. Kuupole, noted that he deemed it as appropriate to introduce himself and the Registrar, Mr. Kofi Nyan, to her as the highest office holder in the region. He also reiterated the commitment of the University to establish working relationship with the Regional Coordinating Council at all times.
Responding, Mrs. Ama Benyiwaa Doe, congratulated the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar on their appointments to the top level management of the University. She commended UCC for exhibiting a high sense of discipline during her term as Regional Minister. She therefore assured the delegation of her readiness to support UCC whenever the need arose
