UCC SRC’s Artiste Night Features Stonebwoy

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) campus came alive on the night of June 26, 2025, as the NORMAN-led SRC hosted the highly anticipated Artiste Night to crown the 62nd SRC Week Celebration. The highlight of the night was an electrifying performance by Ghanaian music icon Stonebwoy, whose presence set the stage ablaze with energy, unity, and excitement.

In a heartfelt address before the performance, the SRC President, His Excellency Abraham Norman Nortey, expressed profound gratitude to the student body for their unwavering support throughout his tenure. He wished all students well in their academic and personal pursuits.

“As we approach the close of our administration, I am humbled by the legacy we’ve built together,” President Norman stated. “From the the SWLT (Shatta Wale) Bridge, the establishment of the Norman Bus Stop, the introduction of UCC SRC Cloth & motto and the launch of the 10GB Data Bundle Initiative, to our social interventions like SRC Bolt Emergency Services, Free Meals, Free Health Screenings, Free Consultation Services, and NHIS Renewal and Registration, we have prioritized student welfare every step of the way”he said.

He added that these projects were not mere achievements, but “footprints of a vision” that would remain in the hearts of students and serve posterity long after his term.

The Artiste Night not only celebrated music and entertainment but also reflected the unity, strength, and vibrancy of the UCC student community. It was a fitting farewell to a memorable administration, marked by passion, innovation, and a student-centered legacy
