The Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, Prof Domwini Dabire Kuupole, has described the Centre for Continuing Education, CCE, as one part of the university that is helping to improve its coverage and image. He said through the CCE, the university is extending its services to most parts of the country and making university education accessible to tens of thousands of Ghanaians.
Prof. Kuupole made this statement when he commissioned five 2-bedroom expandable apartments for the CCE’s Accra Office. The short ceremony which was held at the apartments at Papafio, East Legon Hills, was also used to commission a mini bus for the centre.
The Vice Chancellor said the CCE holds the key to projecting the image of the university. Prof. Kuupole advised staff of the CCE at the Accra Study Centre to work hard in enhancing the image of UCC. The Director of the Centre, Prof. George K.T. Oduro expressed the gratitude of CCE to all those who have made it possible for it to get this far.
