The world is growing so fast and the minds of people must grow and act accordingly. Mediocrity, “Let’s do it anyway” and the “I don’t care” behaviours must stop. The silence is loud, though we keep talking the more.
we are not seeing what we actually have to be seeing, our ears are not fed with what they actually have to eat and what is done is always in contrast with what actually needs to be done. And it’s pitiful that, we have been muzzled by our own selves though we wish to see, hear and find things done better. And that, we are misusing our freedom of speech.
The problem is that, most of us find ourselves looking but not truely seeing. And we continue to press our lips together in a manner that seems to make us disappear, clearly showing that we are troubled and something is wrong.
Now, this is what I am saying; AFRICA needs truth. And we all have a stake in the truth.
Society functions based on an assumption that people will abide by their word – that truth prevails over mendacity. For the most part, it does. If it didn’t, relationships would have a short shelf life, commerce would cease, and trust between parents and children would be destroyed. All of us depend on honesty, because when truth is lacking we suffer, and society suffers.
The whole world is suffering because Satan lied to Eve. When Adolf Hitler lied to Neville Chamberlain, there was not peace in their time, and over fifty million people paid the price with their lives. When Richard Nixon lied to the nation, it destroyed the respect many had for the office of the president. When Enron executives lied to their employees, thousands of lives were ruined overnight.
Truth is lacking somewhere, and until we discover and fix it into the equation, we Africans would never be freed. I’m telling you; truth is the key to unlocking the unbearable economic crisis in Africa. Our health would continue to depreciate with the speed of light if the truth is not told, and the peace we seek shall have no water to hold inasmuch as the truth lacks. This is what I am saying!
We count on our governments, African leaders and commercial institutions to be honest and truthful. Student leaders are also in the picture, we want the truth from them. Religious leaders are also counted on. We need and expect our friends and family to be truthful. Truth is essential for all relations be they personal, professional, or civic.
AFRICA needs some fresh air and I trust it is only “the truth” that can supply us with the fresh air we need which will be well worth breathing.
This is what I am saying, Period!
