The National Service Scheme in a press release signed by the Corporate Affairs Director, Amstrong Essah, has notified final-year students of the emancipation of pin codes to enable them enroll in the 2022/2023 service year.
The Management of the Scheme released for the registration of One Hundred and Twenty Seven thousand, Nine Hundred and Ninety-Nine (127,999) pin codes. These pin codes for final year students from all accredited tertiary Universities in Ghana are to enable students to enroll and do their mandatory national service this year.
“All prospective national service personnel is hereby requested to access their pin codes from Monday, July 25 2022 with their respective Index Numbers and their date of birth on the national scheme’s website www.nss.gov.gh,” the scheme management said.
The management again indicated that students should proceed to Agricultural Development Bank Ltd whose branches are nationwide and make payments of 40 cedis after this process.

However, the management of the scheme entreats prospective service personnel to use MTN Mobile Money to activate their pin codes to reduce the frequent human interaction since we are still in the COVID-19 era which will cost 41 cedis.
The Management of the Scheme directs prospective National Service Personnel to complete this exercise by Monday, August 8, 2022.
