I stand elated and very enthused together with my team, “Team Restoration” on this day 10th September, 2013, extend my best wishes and good luck message to Florence Brenyah, 2011/2012 Adehye Hall president, 2012/2013 SRC chief Justice and Raymond Ayilu, 2012/2013 A.E.S president, 2012/2013 UCC House of Parliament Minority Leader as they embark on their journey to contest the National NUGS Women’s Commissioner and Press Information Secretary respectively.
This year’s National NUGS National congress is underway today, 10th September, 2013 at the University of Education, Winneba.
I humbly beseech all UCC students who believe that it is time for the RESTORATION of the political prowess and social image of this University to stand up in unison and support our brother and sister with our prayers.
This situation reminds me of last year’s NUGS congress that was hosted by KNUST, Kumasi. I remember the fierce battle we put together for DAASEBRE, a former Valco Hall President, to be able to click the position of INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS SECRETARY. Hence, another opportunity to climb the ladder further in the spirit of unity.
More importantly, I call on the delegates as well as the observers, mandated by the students of UCC to represent us, to do so with all loyalty and patriotism. This is the time we need the spirit of solidarity that bemoaned the establishment of the Students’ Council.
My best of regards to you and all members of your teams who have over the last 3-months dedicated themselves to campaign all over the country, traveling from one university to another. The Lord be with you all.
Signed
Opoku Nti Ernest
