I want to, together with my team, on this day of July 29th, 2013 extend the best of wishes and goodluck to Mr. Imoro Lukman, popularly known as KOMRADE on University Of Cape Coast campus as he begins a strong battle today, in a contest for the position of USAG PRESIDENT. (USAG – University Students’ Association of Ghana).
I understand the 5-days residential congress will begin tomorrow and will be hosted by the Navrongo campus of University of Development Studies. I humbly beseech all UCC students who believe that it is time for the RESTORATION of the political prowess and social image of this University to stand up in unison and support our brother with our prayers.
This situation reminds me of last year’s NUGS congress that was hosted by KNUST, Kumasi. I remember the fierce battle we put together for DAASEBRE, a former Valco Hall President, to be able to click the position of INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS SECRETARY. Hence, another opportunity to climb the ladder further in the spirit of unity.
More importantly, I call on the delegates as well as the observers, mandated by the students of UCC to represent us, to do so with all loyalty and patriotism. This is the time we need the spirit of solidarity that bemoaned the establishment of the Students’ Council.
My best of regards to you Mr. Imoro Lukman and all members of your team who have over the last 3-months dedicated themselves to campaign all over the country, traveling from one university to another. The Lord be with you all.
Signed
Opoku Nti Ernest
