Bruno Disqualified; Casford Hall JCRC Leadership Competitionless

Bruno Foli,a leading contender in the JCRC elections of the great Casely Hayford hall has petitioned the Vetting Committee of the hall to furnish him with reasons why he was disqualified.

Bruno was disqualified by the vetting committee from contesting the presidency of the hall in this year’s JCRC elections on the basis that he failed to proof himself worthy of the position. He however suspects foul play and an orchestated attempt by some people to prevent him from contesting the elections.

“Subjectively, I think there is something wrong somewhere, I don’t know why I should be disqualified on any grounds. I have written to the committee to furnish me with reasons why I was disqualified” he revealed to via phone.

Daniel Kofi Acheampong popularly referred to as Sparrow, the out-going President of the hall however disagrees with Bruno. “The vetting committee is composed of people with repute and integrity. They comprised five students each from every level and two senior members” he clarified.

He said the current crop of executives of the hall are not interested in who ever succeeds them and added that if the candidate could not convince his own colleague students on the vetting committee who form the majority, then the said candidate should not blame anybody.

Rumour has it that, Bruno denied any knowledge about the Supreme Council of the hall when he was asked whether he has knowledge about them.

Meanwhile Sundeme Benjamin aka Bones will go unopposed for the presidential slot of the hall.
