The Students Representative Council of the University of Cape Coast has presented a cheque of 20, 000 Ghana cedis to the University Practice Senior High School.
This gesture led by the SRC president, Lawrence Latif Jorhowie was presented on Tuesday, May 16,2023. According to the SRC president the reason for this gesture is to enable the school restore power to the school’s ICT laboratory.
“This was necessary due to the fact that students pursuing elective ICT faced a significant challenge in their practical sessions, affecting their performance in the final examinations”, the SRC president said.
The Headmaster, Mr. Charles Agyapong- Boamah , Assistant headmistress administration and Accountant received the donation on behalf of the school.
Upon receiving the donation, the headmaster was grateful to the SRC that his call made to the SRC in February 2023 to come in their aid has been answered by the SRC.
Finally, the SRC president thanked the Headmaster for the school’s readiness to give final year education student of UCC the space for their teaching practice and releasing their students during SRC events that require the attendance of SHS students on campus.
